So Many Books, So Little Time
home history ask About Us
"What an astonishing thing a book is. It’s a flat object made from a tree with flexible parts on which are imprinted lots of funny dark squiggles. But one glance at it and you’re inside the mind of another person, maybe somebody dead for thousands of years. Across the millennia, an author is speaking clearly and silently inside your head, directly to you. Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people who never knew each other, citizens of distant epochs. Books break the shackles of time. A book is proof that humans are capable of working magic." written by CARL SAGAN (via Advice to Writers)  Bookworms

one thing I will never understand is how normal people are unaffected by movies or books I mean when they watch a movie or finish a book they say “well that was a good movie/book” and they move on while I have an existentional crisis and question the whole universe

I stole this book from school today because I wanted to read it again so badly… Even though my class studied it two years ago 🔪👑 #macbeth

You are going to love me and hate me for introducing you to this website. Love me because the books are BEAUTIFUL and you will wonder how you have never seen this wonderful collection of stroke-able binding before. Hate me because you will want to BUY THEM ALL and they are expensive. Sorry in advance.
